Winter Season Football Teams
Our Winter Season at Papakura City FC offers a wide range of football opportunities for players of all ages, from our youngest first-time kickers to our competitive senior teams. We are proud to provide structured Junior and Youth Development Programmes for those seeking an extra challenge, alongside a dedicated Girls and Women's pathway designed to foster confidence and skill in a supportive environment. With a focus on community and a love for the game, we ensure there is a place for every member of our football family to enjoy lifelong participation in football.
U5s (Kura Kicks - players born 2021) $85 (running in Term 2 & 3 on Friday Nights)
U6s & U7s (Kura Kicks - players born 2019 - 2020) $85 (running in Term 2 & 3 on Friday Nights)
8th Grade - 12th Grade incl 13th Grade Girls (Juniors - players born 2014 - 2018) $190
13th - 17th Grade (Youth - players born 2013 - 2009) $215 (TDP Teams have a different fee structure)

Please note 8th Grade (previously Small Whites) & 9th Grade will be undergoing some changes with New Zealand Football's Whole of Football 2.0 plan. 8th Grade will now be on a Saturday morning.
Junior Development Programme - please find more information on our website (HERE) and answer the relevant question in the form below if you're interested in this programme. The balance of the total programme fee will be invoiced seperately once numbers / teams are confirmed.
Youth Talent Development Programme - players can register for the season prior to the TDP teams being named and the balance of the total programme fee will be invoiced separately once teams are named. Girls & Women's
The Girls and Women’s Winter Season provides a safe and supportive environment for players of all abilities to develop their skills on and off the field. The club offers a range of girls-only teams and specialized programs to encourage participation, confidence, and personal growth.
KURA KICKS
Born 2019 - 2022
Kura Kicks is a term-based football program for our youngest players held on Friday evenings at McLennan Park during Terms 2 and 3. The sessions focus on small-sided games to encourage participation.
JUNIORS
Born 2018 - 2014
The Junior Winter Season provides structured Saturday morning games across the South Auckland and Franklin areas. Teams participate in a mix of home and away fixtures, with a focus on skill development and team play.
YOUTH
Born 2009 - 2013
The Youth Winter Season provides structured Saturday morning games across the Auckland Region. Teams participate in a mix of home and away fixtures, with a focus on team formation through friend requests and previous team placements.
Junior Development Programme
The Junior Development Programme offers structured, club-coached team environments for players committed to accelerating their football skills. These teams include twice-weekly training sessions and supervised game days led by experienced coaches to ensure consistent development and progression.
Youth Talent Development Programme
The Youth Talent Development Programme (TDP) provides a high-performance pathway for players aiming to compete in the highest regional youth leagues. This intensive program includes three weekly training sessions and incorporates Futsal to enhance technical skills, quick decision-making, and overall player development.
SENIORS
The Seniors Winter Season offers competitive and social football options, including Premier, Under 23, Open Grade, and Over 40s teams. Matches are held on Saturdays (Men's) & Sundays (Women's) within the Northern Region Football competitions, providing opportunities for both performance-focused and community-based players.
