Papakura City FC is committed to creating a positive environment where our players can develop, grow, and truly love their game. To kick off the 2026 season, we are hosting our Good Sports Workshops, and registration is now open for all coaches, managers, and parents!
We know how busy our community is, so we are offering two different nights for you to attend. Please register for the session that best fits your schedule:
Option 1: Wednesday, 22 April | 7:00pm – 7:30pm
Option 2: Thursday, 23 April | 7:00pm – 7:30pm
Why should you attend? Good Sports is a culture-change initiative designed to support the key influencers in youth sport—the adults. With research showing that 50% of children quit sport by age 11 due to sideline pressure and poor environments, these workshops provide the tools to:
Foster a lifelong love of football for our kids.
Help players grow in confidence both on and off the field.
Ensure positive sideline behavior that supports player development rather than hindering it.
Whether you are leading a team or cheering from the sidelines, your influence is the biggest factor in a child’s sporting experience. Join us for just 30 minutes to ensure we are all aligned in making this season the best one yet for our players.
“Love Their Game is about turning good feelings into good behaviors and ensuring we’re all doing our bit to support our young people’s growth.” — Ben O’Keeffe
