PAPAKURA CITY FC – WHOLE OF FOOTBALL – SMALL WHITES

NZ Football has released it’s Whole of Football Plan that sets out a unified and strategic master plan that aligns all our development programmes to provide a unified pathway into the game and deliver a consistent experience to all participants. It’s not just about players – it also involves the ongoing development of coaches, referees and administrators.

Papakura City FC has begun the steps to ensure that our players and their supporters are well placed to take advantage of the resources and support being provided from NZ Football. We are very keen to find out more regarding the details of the Fun football festivals and the Skills Centres that are mentioned in the Plan, and are in constant contact with AFF and NZ Football.

Bruce McGrath will resume the role of Small Whites ‘Convener’ for 2012 and coordinate the 5th through to 8th grades within Papakura City FC.

Our Club is already ahead of a lot of Auckland Clubs having adopted the Small sided games approach for the 5th and 6th grades a few years ago.

The Small Whites ‘in house’ League has grown to include Manurewa AFC and Clendon Utd, and Drury Utd.

We also see the Fun Football Festivals becoming an important part of the season fixtures.

In the meantime, check out the Whole of Football Plan on the link below or contact Bruce to have a chat about 2011.
